Jam & Fruit Sauce Line

Jam is a viscous, sugar-rich product that burns on a hot wall and traps air when it is stirred badly. The core of a jam line is therefore the cooking and mixing tanks: jacket, agitator and scraper chosen for the product, and pumps and pipework sized for its viscosity.

We design and build the tanks, hot holding and CIP. Fruit preparation, vacuum concentration where you need it, and filling are integrated from established suppliers and named as bought-in.

From enquiry to commissioning

  1. You send your requirements

Raw material, target product, capacity, local voltage and frequency, heating source and destination port. If you are not sure about some of these, tell us what you do know.

  2. We send a process proposal

A process flow, an equipment list with specifications, a suggested layout and a quotation. If more than one configuration makes sense, we explain the trade-off instead of sending one option.

  3. We manufacture and test

Fabrication, welding, polishing and assembly in our own workshop. Standard machines ship in 20 days; a complete line in 40–45 days.

  4. Installation and training

Our engineers travel to site — typically 4 days for installation, commissioning and operator training. Travel and accommodation are covered by the buyer.

Questions buyers ask

Open cooking or vacuum cooking?
Open jacketed cooking is simpler and suits small batches and traditional products. Vacuum cooking boils at a lower temperature, which keeps colour and fresh-fruit flavour and shortens the cook, but costs more. Send us your product and target Brix and we will say which pays.

Tell us about your process

About three minutes. An engineer reads every request and replies with questions or a process proposal — not an automatic price list.
